Brian Varela

Brian Varela is a California native who is pumped to be apart of the Cycleward Crew. He is a certified personal trainer and cyclist through the prestigious National Academy of Sports Medicine. Brian went to school for Music at the Florida State University (GO NOLES!!!) and is a professional actor/singer/dancer, performing on stages throughout South Florida. Brian teaches in the Sculpt Ward with classes such as Full Body sculpt, Tight and Toned, Ass and Abs, as well as the Music-video Cycle ride. His philosophy on fitness is that Working out is just that, it's WORK! But when you work at it everyday, its no longer optional, it becomes a necessity. You'll notice his infectious high-energy and his dedication to success when you take one of his fun cycle rides or challenging sculpt sessions.

  • 1/4 ROUNDS (Sculpt)
  • 1/4 Rounds is a high intensity class designed to sculpt your whole body. This class is broken into four 10-15-min segments, concentrating on cardio, upper body, lower body and core.
    Be ready, this class is non-stop with heart pumping music and motivating instruction.

  • Dance Fusion (Sculpt)
  • Can you feel the beat? Dance Fusion is a calorie-torching dance party, targeting high heart rates, sculpting and flexibility training. From beginners to dance pros, from latin to pop, from electronic to hip-hop... this class is a non-stop party train that will leave you drenched and flood your body with dance floor endorphins! 

  • Music Video Ride (Cycle)
  • Cycling class with music videos playing on screen.

  • Kettle Bell Core (Sculpt)
  • Ditch the dumbbell and pick up a kettle bell! This class will challenge your core strength, balance and stability. 
    You will transition from one big calorie burning exercise to another in order to get into a rhythm and blast fat fast!

  • Total Body Cycle
  • The name says it all, 45 min cycling class with concentrated movements that allow for the ultimate FULL BODY cycling workout. Riders will be getting an additional "arm" song as well as weighted ab movements with and without the 3lb weights.
